Hi im new here and have a 1996 240sx SE. Im planning on buying a hks hiper cat back exhaust and hotshot headers. I want to know what kind of after market cat should i be looking for to fit my exhaust set up(brands of the cat and places i can buy them) i dont want to buy some thing that isnt going to bolt right up or not work properly after a few months.

I believe the flange size is still the same, so you shouldn't have a problem.

no cat would work...its just not legal...there are places where you can get fake etests done...for a price.

Catco makes a "high perf" one that is flanged and will blot right up... or you can go for flow and pickup a test pipe for like $50 these days.

It would help also if you filled out your profile so we had an idea of where you are and if you need a catalytic anyways, but that's OTS
