hole in downpipe. any1no?

Ok. im going to sound like an idiot, but i need help. i have a 95 240. on the downpipe, before the cat, there's a hole about the size of a penny. ok i know somthins missing. theres two cut wires but no threads. so normally u go 2 autozone and pick up an 02 sensor but they said thats not it. didnt know what it was and nither did i. if anyone knows wat this is and where to find it it would be very helpful. ps, theres no threads in the hole. thats why im confused.

sounds like it could possibly be were the factory EGR emissions line once ran. I dont think its threaded, just plugged in there. If you dont have any of the other EGR stuff I think you can just plug her up.
