Hot Cam

My 68 U20 motor has a 298 degree cam. Why is it that the DE motors only have a 248 at best? Is there a mechanical limit in the valvetrain or just lack of interest? Why is there only an intake cam available and not the exhaust also?

i believe jwt has a set of intake and exhaust cams
