As much as I hate to admit it, being biased towards the KA myself, you both need to chill out about your opinions and let everything but the facts go.

Steve, check thisy here link out: http://forums.********.com/zerothread?id=129935

now, yes, that`s about 1400 more than 1800, but that`s also using all new parts.

there`s a local guy running mid 13s on an all junkyard setup that he tossed together on his own for under 2. I`ll try and get info later.

Anybody know some cheap but reliable ka-t`s out there or are we gonna hafta go mine the kat forums for testimonies?

and finally, to fastone, the sr20 makes rotational force, too. You just can`t tell until 3-4000 rpm when the car starts whistling.

Im not arguing with him, hes arguing... Steve 14 I never said KA was "better" than an SR, I said its just as cost efficiant if not more...And you said the KA cant take 300 HP...umm no. Both can take 300 easy. Both are great engines, its all preference. I rather have the KAs mirrange power and low end torque rather than the SRs revability...

This debate can go on for DAYS, no one will ever win because its mostly based on opinion and preference...so chill out and take that stick out of your *** your making yourself look like an idiot by calling me names.

Yes the SR makes torque too just not as much....its just the nature of the engine...Ive seen those "junkyard kits" Haha! Those kits are too much though...3gs? You can piece it together yourself with fuel management for that price...just a thought

Message to Steve even though the NA sr has a 9.1 compression, it lacks oil squirters that the SR20det comes with. The bottom end of a stock sr not T wont handle high boosting, it will fry your rings like swiss cheese without the oil squirters. KA's come manufactured with oil squirters in the bottom end.
The whole debate thing is stupid you two knock it off. Both engines have different qualities that cannot be compared.
