I think I am going to snap

I have been trying for god knows how long to locate a butterfly that I could use to replace the one in my current throttle body if I were to enlarge it to 65mm. No one, as far as I can tell, sells butterflies individually. You have to buy an entire throttle body from them. I just need the butterfly, waffer, or whatever you want to call it. Does anyone know where I can get one? If I don't find one soon I think I am going to loose it.

find a car that has a throttle body matching yours then go junkyard hopping. thats my best advice.

Off the top of my head... a Mustang 5.0 has a large throttle body I think... or was that the MAF?

Dude there's got to be a car with a 65 in it... check up on the domestic boys V8's.. getting a used TB would probably be more cost efficient too from a domestic since probably the only imports that use a 65 or > are like baller NSX's or something

I could be wrong but I believe the 5.8L Mustang V8 engine has a 65mm TB.

ROTFL, yes, I meant to type 4.6L. Have NO idea how I typo'd that one! Anyways, the engine I'm talking about is the 32-Valve 4.6L DOHC V8 which is available in the Mach 1 and the SVT Cobra (supercharged, but same engine nonetheless). I think the SOHC 4.6L V8 has a slightly smaller throttle body.

Now I wonder how many Mach 1's and SVT's are already in a junkyard
