Hey guys, when I baught my car a week ago, it ran like **** but idled nicely.. Since then I've done a tune up, cap and rotor, plugs, sea foam in the gas tank and intake mani. And everytime i stop at a light, my car surges to 2k and sits there like i'm revving. I'm gonna clean out the egr valve. Thinking about taking off the AIV like I see everyone else doing, but I still have to smog my car this week so Im gonna wait on that. Is ther a idle control switch at all?? Or what else do you guys think?

 

found the problem after a search. Just cleaned the MAFS and problem fixed.
