what do you think would be a good size for an intake?

im going to be makin my own intake and im going to go with 3 inch diameter all through .

any input would be cool

 

not sure if diameter of the pipe affects anything i know the length does

i take that back.... i was thinking that today and i would say stay 3in because air moves faster in a 3in as opposed to a 4in plus the throttle body or whatever it is... is about 2.7 or 2.8 in so i would say 3 in piping would be ideal... but if you got a turbo or a future turbo then you wanna increase diameter....

 

4 inch is way too big. 3 inch is about right. Remember to use a high flowing filter along with it.
