Need help 1995 240sx KA24DE won't run right!!!!!

I changed the belts on my 95 240sx and now when I start the car it idles fine, but I can't get it past 2500 RPM. I made sure everything was plugged in and the belts aren't to tight, but it still won't go past 2500 rpm. The cars drives fine as well until I get to 2500 rpm, then it bounces like a rev limiter. Any help would be great, need to get the car up and running.

disconnect your battery for 20 to 30 min, then reconnect. This will reset your ecu so it will recognise your MAF and will or might fix your problem.

It was my MAF, thanks for the help, My dumb A$$ didn't plug it in all the yway so at a glance it was good, but the hand test found out it was loose. Thanks for the help........
