No Electricity in Car

Hey all. I replaced my starter and battery this weekend. The problem now is that everytime i turn off the engine, there is no electricity. Basically there is no electricty in the car(all the electrical peripherals do not work: clock, seat belts, lights...) when the engine is off. Also when i suddenly brake, the radio cuts off for a second or two. I thinking these two problems are related. My bro told me to check the fuses, none of them seem to be burned.

Btw, the door light on the dash lights up randomly and turns off randomly. This is odd b/c i disabled the door sensor this weekend, so even if the door is open, the light does not come up. I'm wondering if it is the dash console. If I can't figure it out, I'll just go under the car and remove the light bulbs under the leg area.

Thank you in advance.

sounds like something is grounding out... do you have a relocated battery? if not, check all you battery connections, fuses, and the rest of the wiring... If there is now electricity when the car is on -- the alternator is dead

Do you have to boost the car to crank it, or is just that nothing is working; but it still starts?

battery is not relocated. nothing is working but it still starts and once it starts everything is working. I don't think its a bad alternator, since it was replaced a few months ago.
