oil leak

My car has leaked oil since i bought it and seems to be getting worse. When I go under to look for my leak i just end up quitting b/c it is hard to see where it is coming from. It seems to be on both sides above the oil pan (who knows maybe it leaks too) If it was coming from the pan could it splash upwards getting other things wet?? Seems to be around the pulleys but not above them at all and not the oil filter that leaks. like i said it is on the FRONT of my engine not sides or back. Any ideas on what it could be?? TIA

Nick

if your timing chain cover has ever come off it could of been reinstaled improperly... i didn't put enough gasket sealer on to mine, so it leaks where the oil pan and timing chain cover meet in the front and it is all over everything..
