So i took my S13 in for a checkup and it seems to have a a tiny leak around where the tranny and engine connect. My mechanic refuses to replace the seal unless i do something else to the tranny (something worth the $270 its gonna take in labor fees), so i figure why not upgrade the clutch while i have the chance?
Two questions:

I'm not really liking the $270 labor fees, is it that complicated to drop the tranny?

Any ideas on which performance clutch kit i should have installed?

Pour in the suggestions, i'm planning on working all summer to gather as much money as needed. *BTW* i need it to be street compatible, nothing that should only be used on the strip

 

most people go for the ACT Stage 1. Its a good street clutch.

 

how god is the center force clutch
