?'s on removal of the clutch fan

what is the clutch fan for? and what are the advantages of removing it? I am wanting to do the dual 10in fan swap but i don't know exactly what the clutch fan does... or if it is there to make alot of noise...lol.. or just make the bay look fuller....

it cools the engine, you can take it off and not experience the lose of power you do when it engages because the pully that spins it wont have to work as hard.

Moved to NA, post in the right area!

You can remove it and there isnt much of a advantage to it.

I removed mine, rev's a little happier now. Saves up some room, looks cleaner, and i put 2 12" fans on the radiator instead. I'm in NH so I won't have to worry about 100+ temperature, so it shouldn't be a problem. Cheap and good mod.
