Chassis weight is about 1100lb.s "coupe models", it has an all independent wish bone suspension, handles way better than a 240sx. The coilover suspensions from the 1980 200sx are interchangeable. I'll try and get pics for you within the week, it is being garaged up in Chico, I havent had time to tow it to the Bay Area yet.
The 510's are called dimequarterly cars, they got there name because the have such a light chassis they can run bone stock engines upto 10sec's in the quarter mile.

Personally, I'd go for a rebuild... but that's just me. It all depends on what you have available near you; like do you have alot of machine-shops in your industrial part of town (if you have an industrial part of town?), or junk yard for that matter where alot of teenagers wreck their 240s. All in all it becomes a matter of convenience.
