Question Engine swap or rebuild?

I want my 240 to last fo long. Would you consider rebuilding a stock engine, and performing minor mods later (ex: cold air intake and exhaust).

Or would you go fo the sr20det swap and not bother with the stock engine.

How much would each cost?

I'd like rebuilding the KA,but if you want a lower mileage already turbo'd engine, go SR.They are both heavily debated. If you yourself can rebuild the KA, go for that, if not then you'd spend a lot getting it rebuilt, so you'd be better off upgrading to a Sr20.

The doc said it right..another plus with a KA is..If u have driven it for awhile..u know how it feels and knows it actually works. With a SR ur taking a big risk..there might be lil problems with it or big problems. Its a gamble with a SR..but w/ the KA its a for sure thing if done right.
