running rich

running rich

my gauge has been telling me lately that im running very rich.
i used to run stoich all the time, but one day it started to richen.
i removed the AIV awhile back...but i searched and found nothing saying that its the cause of a rich mixture.

anyone got a idea what the problem could be?

do a little research bud, come on
number 1 reason is o2 sensor
clean your mafs & throttle body
seafoam helped me as well.
check plugs & wires.
clogged cat

thanks anyway...but i have already searched.

o2 sensor is new
sea foamed twice
new wires cap and rotor and plugs
no cat.

putting that information the first time would have helped us buddy, to know you checked the basics.

clean your mafs and throttle body with carb cleaner?

yup... cleaned both...didnt really seem that dirty though.

do you have gas smoke, or is it running just a little rich. also how many miles do you get to a tank, i might have the same problem.

yea me and my friend broke a sensor installin a intake and it ran real rich and would barely fire so check the air sensor like they said
