Starting issue

Hey guys, long time s13 owner and long time lurker. I'm having an issue I haven't encountered before and I'm at a loss. Done lots of searching on multiple forums and tried many things. Here's a summary of what's been going on...

I was driving the s13 and stopped for gas. Suddenly it wouldn't start, so I had someone push me downhill so I could pop start it. No problems there. Drove home and haven't driven it since.

My first thought was the starter went out, so I sourced a used Nissan(non remanufactured) starter and put that on. No start, no clicking noise. However, if we jump the solenoid, the starter spins. So I thought maybe it was the solenoid. I had someone tap on it while I turned the key and nothing happens.

Somewhere along this whole process, I blew the 75a alternator fuse and lost all power except the headlights. Replaced that and got everything back except the radio and turn signals.

Did some more research and found this thread. http://www.zilvia.net/f/tech-talk/10...-56k-warn.html

The whole time I've owned this car, I never needed to use the clutch to start it, so it must be wired to bypass the clutch interlock switch. It says in that thread the starter/interlock relay notoriously goes bad, so I removed it and tried jumpering the wires like it says in the thread. No changes. I'm half tempted to splice them together and see what happens but my dad advised me not to. What's going on here?

Okay so I found this thread and went down the line.

http://forums.********.com/1991-1994...l-t249966.html

I used a wiring diagram and deleted the interlock relay. When I supply 12v from the positive terminal of the battery to the starter wire, it will crank the engine. According to that thread, it's an ignition issue. And i have no idea what to do with that. Any ideas?

Edit: Just noticed ******** is edited out on this site. Bad blood?

Okay, so an update. I bypassed the interlock relay and the clutch interlock switch was already bypassed. It's the ignition switch. I'll confirm that when I get some money and buy one, then put it in.
