tune up time

this weekend i will be doing some tuning for my car, what are some suggestions on some things i should be checking on or changing?? lately my car has been feeling a little sluggish. if anyone has any good websites on some beginners tech. please post them also thanks.

this makes the 2 of us... i need a tune up bad... had the car for 5 months... havent gotten time to get arond to one... im freakin lazy as hell....

Get yourself a Haynes or a Chilton manual. That should keep you informed well for maintanence jobs.

Get a FSM if you really want to get yourself in some trouble. I don't know what it is with those books. Makes me feel like I can just start taking stuff apart.

Well i think i need one 2. my car is idling rough and it might need some new plugs.

hope i get a chance to change it before it gets cold or it'll stay like that. Wish i could also stop the oil blowby, would be great.

Do a full tune up. It'll make a difference. Change the plugs, plug wires, distributor, rotor, and pcv valve.

ok i say new plugs..
new wires..
new cap
new rotor...
new fuel filter..
change the old o2 sensor..
clean out the maf a litle..
and run some fuel injection cleaner..
and redo timing..
and you will be fine..
