Sorry guys this meet is cancelled due to cops are gonna be swarming the place and I don't think we want to be profiled as street racers...

Sad thing about the LI meet. It looked like the turnout was going to be good.

You guys/gals should take a look at joining the NJ cruise.

well we will meet up at 8pm... go to old country buffet for dinner then head out to herrill lanes to get some bowling done...

 

OK, so the Old Country Buffet is on Old Country Rd. right? How far would it be from the Meadowbrook, or an other major highway so I have an idea as to where to get off and what not.

The meet will be in Bayville at Ransom Beach, 8pm Friday 8/30/02. It has a nice sized parkin lot and is rite on the water/beach. Real nice. Sooo directions:

From West:
LIE East to Rt. 106/107, follow signs to stay on Rt. 106 NORTH. Take 106 down, cross over 25A, continue on 106. Make a LEFT on Lexington Street (Hess Gas Station, Dodge Used Cars and Trucks will be on corner). Take Lexington to Main Street, make a LEFT (you will see Theodore Roosevelt Elemetry School). Continue on Main Street, scenic drive along the water, over the drawbridge, until Bayville Avenue. Make a LEFT on Bayville Ave, a little further down on the RIGHT you will see the beach, where u turn in to the parking lot.

From East:
LIE West to Rt. 106, same as above.

I am torn there are two meets going on the same night. One in NJ and one in LI.

 

it's either all Nissan or a mix of cars... the one in LI is mostly Nissan...

 

I know which meet your talking about Stan. For me, I feel like I live in Jersey! LOL We've been there so much, just got back from ATCO this weekend too, and with this meet being so close to home for me, its like a no brainer. Plus with our meet on the 1st.....yada yada yada.

 

I think I am going to end up going to the NJ one. If the weather is bad or the turnout is ****ty I will shoot out to LI.
