count me in on the keychain deal. id be siked on a S14 if you eventually make one

 

if someone can get me a side on shot of the s14s I'll try my best. I have the side silhouettes of the s13 silvia and hatch which allows me to make the 4 non-vert s13 bodies. So making the s14 will be a challenge. I will be doing more work on Monday and hope to have the silvia program ready to cut on Wednesday.

Oh and Dave, if you want Mach wheels you should have bought a Mach and not that warmed over GT.

Ok guys, time for an update. To save time and complexity I think I am going to offer these keychains in 3 styles. 180SX, Silvia S13, and one style S14 (Haven't decided which yet). That being said, I expect to begin the prototyping of the 180SX style on Wed, as well as finishing the programming for the Silvias. So without further waisting of words, Here is a screen capture from the program/modeling I did today. The car itself is 2.5" long and the tab on the back is sized to accept a 3/16 hole. I hope this pleases you guys. BTW I made it with the "Sleepy Eyes" so if you look carefully at the pic you can see the lights are up a little.

Seriously though, I'm loving it, I can't wait to see the finished product . . .I can't really give too much input on this but I'm sure one of the S13 guys could offer some valuable input on this subject!

looks good but i can do without the rear spoiler and sleepy eyes.

 

When I start making them, I can take a "vote" based on orders and remove those parts if thats what everyone wants. Its all cool. The hard part was making the outline the first time as it comes out jagged and I have to go back and pretty much re-draw it by hand. Now that I have it, it's easy to remove things.

 

Ok so the weather may prevent me from getting to class on wed so this all may be shifted back about a week. I will be producing a prototype of each style and will post the pics in the FIRST post in this thread. After that I will create a new group-buy thread for orders. If anyone has any opinions on the addition/subtraction of parts (wings, sleepy eyes, ect) or which S14 version to make please speak up now. The sooner I have a consensus, the sooner I can get the final programming nailed down and the parts into production.

 

No school on wed, so I'm going to prototype the fastback tomorrow....Maybe a slivia too..
