yea with a hand tool hahaha. i dont know how it happened, the cocaine make strong i guess. (joke)

no sir, you do not have to loosen the subframe to remove or install a diff.

so here is the thread on zilvia.

http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=186348

cliff notes

i took it to a local machine shop today, getting a quote tomorrow after them working with it for 10 min to see how long it will take. i guess since this is taking so much effort i will paint the subframe and stuff before throwing the links and diff back in. im installing my RUCAs at the same time, and possibly a R32 diff, does anybody know if S13 6 bolt connects-to-the-axles-thingy is interchangable with the R32 5 bolt-connects-to-the-axles-thingy? oh and any suggestions on color? i may just paint it the same color as gabe's car.

paint it pearl white...ahaha...as for the diff...from my understanding i believe you have to use r32 axles...OR...i would think the q45 axles would work then because the r32 diff is a direct bolt on to the q45 while using q45 axles...which also means you can use a z32 diff also and possibly z32 axles.

oh so i also bought a muffler off summit for $40 shipped. 3" inlet to 2.5" outlet. seems pretty cool. hopefully its quiet as ****.

no need to fret, it will be flanged and will be interchangeable with the 3.5" straight pipe.
