ok, i play guitar...went to college for a little bit to be a recording engineer (switched major's now)

i moved back home, and got my old job back...well my co-worker is always talking about his band this, his band that...we got to talking about music and all that good stuff

so he asked if i would try out for his band...to make a long story short, i get in the band and nothing happens...no gigs no nothing...basically i figured it was all nothing but talk

then tonight we have a photo shoot and meet with the chamber of commerence of the town we live in because we are doing a cinco de mayo show with a band that won a grammy
(its a tejano band i'm in...long story)

i just find i REALLY weird that now i'm going to be opening up for a majorly big band...a band that one a ***in grammy!!!

and the deal is that if they like us then they will take us on tour with them

funny thing is that, i dont listen to this type of music
i HATE tajano music...
and if this band gets big i am goign to be REALLY pissed off because i've spent YEARS and YEARS in bands...playing crappy clubs...getting paid in beer...having to lug my own equipment around...

 

Okay, so what kind of response do you want exactly??? Do you want a "WOW that's awesome!" or a "Well, maybe you should....blah blah bull**** blah blah..."?

I think you should quit all of those things and perform in a Mariachi band--hehehe---and wear those funky outfits!

Even better, just become an opera singer--now THAT would be cool!
