Question about cops and radars

Ok, the question is can cop get just your speed or he gets lisence plate too, when he passes you in the opposite way. Is there any other way he can get your lisence plate or just if he memorize it??

the cops have camera's ya know. so even if the radar can't get it, all they have to do is "rewind, pause, and your busted"

the cops can stop the tape and look at it. if they could do that then whats the use of the camera? the police would be able to get away with anything
