The FD is too expensive and has horrible cooling, why would I buy that car? LOL!

How bout you buy a 240. I dont wanna hear any of that crap about them being too expensive. You are a moderator in a 240 forum for chrissake.

Not saying that I can't afford a 240sx, just saying I'm not buying one for the price.

I'm not that poor, LOL, a little less on the purchase price makes up on the price of maintenance and parts. And the prestige and pedigr . . . . .nah . . .not getting into this again.

A 240sx is a consideration if I can find one in a condition worth towing for under a grand.

I agree with you and that's what I was leaning towards with that project, however, boost is just so dang easy that I don't know if I can rule it out as a possibility.

The jury, however, isn't as out as it used to be . . . my friend with the RX7 sold it, so I'm going to go with the SR5 unless someone else can get me a project vehicle for about the same price.

Oh well, we'll see how things pan out!

Save and get an e30. I want one so bad. I would give up my 240 for one straight up anyday.

Butttt out of those two, I would have to say corolla-but you already decided to get that.

LOL, well if this person can get me some pictures of his E30, then I'd definitely gear towards that one. I'm a BMW fanatic however, as anyone here can attest to. I miss my E30 and would love the chance to have another one, but BMW's tend to be a bit pricey when modifying and upgrading.

We'll see...

I think if my brother can afford to do it anyone can, then again he is living off his girlfriend so he doesn't really pay rent lol. He is swapping a M50 into his E30 right now, which will be a huge improvement over the stock SOHC he had, should be putting out 200+hp for relatively cheap.

Yeah those M50's are great, the VANOS is a huge improvement . . . .I was joking with one of my SCCA buddies that I would love to put the engine from my 540i into an E30 . . . LOL! That'd be one fast vehicle!

I think the old motor was putting out 120hp, since it was the SOHC M20B27 I believe. So 80-90 horsepower boost for relatively cheap on an extremely light car is awesome to me, I am sure you could get on for cheap, as I think my brother paid 600 for his. So many things were wrong with it though, such as two of the cylinders weren't firing and the car was overheating extremely quickly, though those were taken care of cheaply and the car is fast even with just the M20.

If you have to get a Hachi though, thats awesome too, I got a Corolla T-shirt after all. GTS convert is a must though.
