only problems i have with older car is the frame. yeah it'll go fast and do all sorts of stuff but it's out dated... 240 is also an old late 80s frame, but you did get irs, VS whatever the old corolla's have. plus the 93-95 rx7 are just beautiful vs their previous model and several new cars available today. plus whatever cooling issues they have, i'm sure you can resolve, it is a project car after all.

in the end not my $, and between the two, i vote rx7 again...

Not sure, I have another friend with an E30 (wow, friends really stack up when you teach people how to drive like idiots) and he's willing to sell to me for a smashing price, I'll have to weigh both options and see what's what.

Meh, an E30 build WOULD be fun, but I'm also looking at the price for parts for an SR5/GTS Corolla and despite having to pretty much rebuild the car from the ground up, parts, down the line, are relatively cheap and easy to come by as opposed to the E30 market which is limited to say the least.

yeah..i imagine that it would be tons cheaper to build the AE...

but, the whole "im a drifter" thing blew up here so, i haven't even seen a AE GTS for less then like 6grand!!! even the AE85 and the nonGTS ones sell for like 4..it almost makes me sad to be into drifting..even though i have loved it since i was like 12...

either way stig, keep me updated..i want to see what to do with the car

Not a problem, I'll make sure to keep everyone abreast of what's going on (hahahahahah . . . breast)

I think that either way it goes it'll be a very fun and challenging endevor to undertake and I can't wait to start tearing into my next project!

Take care,
-Stig
