'91 Black Fastback for sale in CA
Well, I have a 240 that I am considering selling for the right price. I love the car, I just can't afford it anymore.
Black
5 Speed
260,000 Miles
Sunroof
Power Windows
Power Locks
Air Conditioning
New Battery, Clutch, Fuel Pump, Struts, Starter, and Kenwood/Pioneer speakers
It runs absolutely perfectly, insanely strong engine (yet, perfect for a swap), very quick.
I'm asking $3,500 for it. I'm located in Santa Clarita (near Magic Mountain). Email me at almiteycowe@hotmail.com
edit: actually it has 260,000 on it. i just checked. swap was done about 40,000 ago, by the previous owner. the car has to go, make me an offer. i'll have some pictures posted before the 29th.

isn't there a way to drop the price a bit....$3,500 seems kinda steep for a car that has almost a quarter of a million miles on it.

well, it's about as low as i can possibly go, without hurting myself financially. If i understand correctly, the previous owner installed a new KA24DE for it, but didn't reset the odometer. At any rate, it sure doesn't drive like a car with a quarter of a million miles on it. Make me a reasonable offer though, and i'll see what i can do.

I spent $2,000 three years ago for a 91 with half that mileage. Unless you have some significant and recent upgrades, that price is outlandish.

Damn. I thhink it's worth a plane ticket and a day of driving to save $1000 or more on a car (or any purchase for that matter).

Yeah, I kind of realized that when I went to Miami. If the car didn't run, I would have had to buy 2 more plane tickets home... would have been out almost $1000 and would have no car. I was pressed for time - didn't have time to have my friend check it out for me first.
Actually, I was just impatient.

well, honestly... i got screwed over when i first bought the car. it was in horrible condition. inside and out. paid $2000 for it. since then i've replaced or repaired most of the mechanical parts in it. tomorrow i have to go get new tires, considering wheels. i'm also working on painting/repairing the body. in all over $6000 invested. i figured the $3,500 was a bit high, but i wanted to try not to lose out too big here. basically, at the moment i need rent and school money more than i need a car. i was trying to get some pictures up here earlier but my camera doesnt seem to want to work. so, after i get the new tires on it, ill have one of my friends take the pictures for me. then you can let me know what you think its worth. i'll drop my asking price to $3000, i may take less, or i may not part with it, events in the next few weeks pending.
