I can see where your coming from, but there are always questions, new, old, and ones with a different variable thrown in, so I dont think it would kil the board, I think it would eliminate alot of the questions that are asked over and over. Thats just my thought.

On another note..... anyone have any info on the driveshaft question?????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????

McKinney motorsports has a pretty good deal. 4,800 for rb25 complete swap, custom mount kit, custom driveshaft, wiring services, and downpipe. Pretty much everything to make it a straight fowards swap into your 240.

for those of you with experience driving RB25 swapped 240s, how do they drive? quick high revving, strong low end, etc? How does the rb25 driving experience compare to an sr20det swapped 240?

I was wondering, it seems that more people swap the rb25det and the rb20det rather than the rb26dett. Why is this? I was thinking about getting an rb26dett front clip but now it looks like i would get more info/help if i swaped the rb25det. Also alot of people swap these illegal engines into there car, how do they drive it as a daily driver? Just be careful on the road and hope not to get caught? also how do you guys deal with the the smog situation?

okay. You've convenced me and my friend to go RB. He's bought a 93 240 I'm looking for a stick 97-98 as an estament how much do all of you think it would cost to drop an rb20, 25, and 26 in these two cars. We would like to go the RB26 route what is the disadvantage of going 26. Thank you for the help.

I think it will be fine on the stock HG, alot of people run around 12-14PSI that's about the limit of the stock fuel system, I heven't heard of anyone having HG problems.

I am hooking everything up on my RB swap and one thing I noticed was that I have too many pressure lines/outputs for my power steering. I figured this is due to the hicas, because I have a 300ZX TT power steering pump around and it is the same situation (1 in 2 out) . My question is. HOW DO I FIX THIS???? neither a KA24E or KA24DE power steering pump fit and I dont know if I can just block off the back half of the pu mp without hurting the pump.

i just got a rb25det swap into my 95 240sx. i drove the car home(about 1 hr. away) and when i was going 70 mph, the engine was revving at 5000 rpms. Is that normal? And on the way home my car started to bog down everytime i used the windows, my headlights. and even windshield wipers. I had to charge the car 3 times just to drive an hour away. Does anyone know if the problem is the alternator or could it be wiring problems. i really don't think its wiring problems because everytime i charged the battery, the car would run perfectly fine. If it is the alternator, does anyone know where i could buy another r33 rb25det alternator or if there is any other alternators that are interchangeable. if you could respond ASAP, i would appreciate it

I just got a r33 rb25det swapped into my auto 95 240. When i was driving it home from the shop i got the swap done at, i noticed that the engine was starting to bog down once i started using the windshield wipers and headlights. i had to recharge the battery 3 times just to drive an hour. at first i thought that it was the alternator, but i took the alternator off and got it tested at advanced auto parts. the alternator ended up being fine. Does anyone know what the problem would be or could be. If you could respond ASAP, i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

s14rb25det check your wiring, you have to hook the 2 harnesses together (rb lower harness and ka main/lower) or the charge from the alternator will not be getting back to the battery it will just be going to power the harness. I am not at my garage right now but I think its the thick white and blue wire on the alternator into the alternator wire on the chassis or KA harness.
note* make sure its the same between RB20 and RB25 because I am running a 20

did anyone look into the alternators? I have some SOHC alts laying around but no DOHCs and I think the alternator I got is bad, cause I have the harness hooked up right but my battery is being drained. I am gonna take it to autozone tomorrow to find out if its bad for sure.
Just so everyone knows, the KA24E SOHC alternator will NOT work on an RB motor.
