I like the informaton through out this sticky. But I have a question. Whats the compatablity of the exhaust systems for S14's with a rb25det? So far my thoughts are, rb25 down pipe, S14 cat back, and get a piece made to connect the system. I was also just thinking of buying a down pipe and then having a custom exhaust built. What have you done? Or what are you going to do? And what would be cheapest?

From my understanding of it... u need custom fittament for everything... the down pipe may work... but Im not sure. I have to check on that... We still have the NeoRB25 swaped into S14a (kouki) still at the shop... I'll try and find out what was done for exhaust.

YO you Nismo Night, PSSSST Over here........... http://www.r31skylineclub.com/
Talk to the Aussies from down under in these forums all the info you need on the RB30dett and where to get the shiat you need.
Thought you guy's might want to check out this car domain also it appears that the R32 chassis and sub frame are the same as the s13 coupes. Front clips of the (R32) skyline fit the s13's, thought some people might be interested in doing a s13coupe/skyline hybrid chassis type.......
Also check out this pic....
It appears that one of the model skylines labeld' GTS (R33) has the rear tail lights that fit the s13 fast back what do ya think???????

I think you were referring to the S14. The R33 is distinctly similar to the S14 chassis; they were built in the same time period. The picture you posted of the R33 looks much like the rear end of a S14, nothing like the rear end of a S13 hatch.

I was getting low 20MPG, and I was flogging the crap out of it for reliability testing. motor is stock.
bigger turbo+injectors=bigger bill at the gas pump
they are overall good on gas though, when your not beating on it you get the gas mileage you would kinda hope for in a 2.0L

What's the main diff between the rb25 and rb26? from what i've read (here) 26's are harder to install cause the mounts and transmission size. I'm more curious bout the rb25... what displacement and hp does it come with?

diff between 25 and 26 is how the head is built, and the structure of the bottom end, 25 is thinner and slightly weaker compared to 26.

Both require 25 tranny for use in any 240, 26 tranny cannot be reused, no matter wut ppl say, 26 tranny is not reusable.

Will explain more in detail later...
