So I'm having a shop install an RB25det into my 240sx...

and the lady is going to give me a quote with her reccomendations for parts, but I have the final say on stuff like clutch, intercooler, radiator, etc...
So what do YOU guys reccomend for new parts for the new engine?

Certainly the clutch and radiator will need replacing.

nooooo come on now, give me a little more credit than that. Look at my registration date. What I mean is like what BRAND and/or size of different parts, like should I leave the stock intercooler, or get a big ol spearco one? I allready know I want a dual stage turboxs boost controller (I'd prefer 3 stages but they only make either 2 or 4). And what kind of clutch? thats one thing I really dont know **** about - clutches - so what type and brand do you guys run?

My clutch is a 175,000 KM old and in need of replacing...when I can afford it. So I don't think I'm allowed any say on clutch recommendations

the clutch is a good idea while the motor is outta the car. What year 240 u got? cause my stock S14 KA radiator worked fine when my rb20 was stock. Just get a good set of fan on that B. I'd say do a basic tune up. replace spark plugs, timing belt, etc. check on the gaskets and seals. might save u money down the road.

Also thru personal experience. take a lot of pictures of the install. From the wiring harness to them puttin the motor in. And if u can go over everything b4 they do it. I got pretty ****ed over cause I wasn't there for the first time it got put in. and had to pull the entire motor and redo everything.
