Oh boy.

No stock 240 really makes a good drifter. Its gonna take some money. Just do a little research, but I will tell you that more 240s in Canada had VLSDs than in America. Also, the 89-90 has a little less power than the 91-98

That's a little pricey for the condition it's in plus the high mileage, I'm sure you could find a 91-94 for about the same price (in better shape - no rust) if you look in the right places.

In America, about the only S13s that had VLSD were the ones with Super HICAS. Theres more in Canada though. Just lay under the car and look at the differental. If it is VLSD there will be an orange sticker.

Also, you can jack up the rear of the car and see if both wheels spin when you spin one. That price is pretty high though. I would keep looking.

240sx cars suck, who would buy them? Ford Festiva make awesome daily drivers, fuel efficient, and make everyone smile.

I would say no deal unless you are willing to put a lot of work into it, and even then only if the frame is A okay. FF do make the best drift cars, my Teg hit a tree sideways and knocked me out instead of head-on! No more Teg, and hopefully with insurance it will be 240 time.

are you in vancouver bc or wa?

if you're looking for power i doesn't really matter what year 240 you get. it's what you do to it that will determine the outcome.

I would wait and look around. It took me 8 months to find the right one. I bought a 93 fastback with 92,000 for $1500 from the original owner. eventhough its cheap ($500), trust me, you'll wind up putting a lot of money and work with that car. if you have the resources, time, garage, and spirit go ahead. it's your choice.
