couple newb questions, please help!

hey whats up, ive got about $9,000 to spend and want to buy a 240sx and do a sr20det swap. since i dont have alot to spend, ill be getting a s13. heres a few questions, any help is MUCH appreciated.

1.) What is the difference between the Coupe and the Fastback? Any pictures?
What is the difference between the base model, SE, XE, and LE?
Between 89-94, were there any body changes such as tail lights, etc.? Is it possible to remove the "240sx" on the rear so theres just tail lights, or is that a conversion?

2.) I'd like to do a VIS S15 Headlight conversion. I've found it to be about $1500 which includes fenders/hood/bumper/lights/etc. is this everything i need? is it a very difficult task? how much do shops usually charge to do such a conversion? last, would it be more money and hassle than i think?

paying 2500 for a full swap, 1500 for labor, 1500 for the front conversion, im at 5500, plus the cost of the car. i'd like to paint it, nothing special, so lets round it to $6,000. that gives me $3,000 to buy a 240 and stay in budget. am i accurate?

Ok, first of all search for these thing before you post.
The s13 coupe has a trunk and the fastback has a hatchback. 89'-90' had Ka24e (sohc) and they kind of looked a bit smaller. The 91'-93' had a bigger look (imo) and had the better motor, the Ka24de (dohc). In 94' they were only automatic convitables. Se is sporst eddition, i think, and Le is Luxury Eddition which had leather if im notc mistakin. If you get a S15 front end conversion it would just change the look of the car.

thats the kouki tails for the s13 fastback, will not fit coupes. If your going to do the s15 front end conversion its going to cost money, the cheap kits you see for like $1500 will look fit like ***. Do it right the first time and spend the money, check out jspec.com, and please in the future search this has all been covered to death.

my mistake, it was actually $2099 that i saw it for... they are VIS parts - doesnt VIS make quality stuff? if i obtained the parts for that price, how much do you think its going to end up costing me after i get it all on roughly?

if you want quality check out masa fenders on jspec.com, the fenders are one of the most important parts of the conversion. Like I said before check out jspec.com they have pretty much all the info you need

(if none of this makes sense its because I'm totally trashed right now and don't know if I'm really typing this or not)

LLOOOLL thats hilarious, im trashed too as im typing this. good times. but man, i totally dont wanna end up paying THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS just to have those headlights anyway, how much does LABOR typically cost on these types of conversions? and do i need to suply them with more than just the bumper/fenders/hood/lights ?

i like the ideas, but I think I would start somewhere else.
But then again I'm not as concerned with looks as I am with performance. I wanna get a RWD big time. All of my cars have been hondas or mazdas up til now.

I got a question, and I"ve done a search,
Are all LEs Autos, and are all SEs manuals?
Knowing this would make me a lot happier.
