uhm hmmmm.. its so bad that we with rust HATE other 240 owners with rustless chassises

 

LOL! read most southern chassis, because they rust slowly . . .I remember my E30 (as much as I loved it) was a rust bucket, the spring perch rusted right off of the passenger-side trailing arm. . . not even cool, HAHAHAHAHA!

I hate cars from the north, I'll never buy one again as long as I live unless it's very rare or VERY clean.

I guess I lucked out. My 240 is rust-free (except minimal surface rust on the quarter)! I have a few pictures from the seller, and one that I took of the damage. Hopefully I'll have some more this weeked. I'm dropping it off at my boys shop this week to have some work done, especially on that quarter. I'm not doing anything crazy right now, just trying to get it running right, then I'll worry about everything else. I'll start a thread keeping everyone updated.

Yes, my trunk is bungee-tied down.

Hey! WatzUp? I got a '91 SE back in '95 paid 5 G's for it and STILL is runs great (w/300,000 + miles). Got some rust on the rear deck (from the foam spoiler taking on water over the years...) but Hey! I love my car! took down a Z-24 on the Drag Strip, can Drift your pants off, a few well placed 6x9's and I set for life! Oh, yeah, it's good to be here too! Thankx!
