Hello from New Member with Questions

I just purchase an 89 240SX S13 for my son's and I to play with. They wanted a project car and they selected the 240 as a canidate. One became available so I bought it. I know nothing about the 240. I would like to buy service manuals for it so I can fix some of the prblems in it. I also want to replace the engine with a JDM. I see alot of SR20DET, RB20DET, and RB25DET engines for sale in Ebay. What I want to know what is the best engine to swap out? Are there any swapout manuals available?

I am located in Wynnewood PA., just outside of Phila. PA. For you basket ball players Kobi Bryant grew up about 2 blocks from me. But that is another story.

Any and All Advice Will Greatly Be Appreciated!

First off welcome to the forums. Its good to see a dad helping out his son like this

First off, be very cautious when buying a engine from ebay. The best engine...if you search around you will find your answer, but a lot of people swap in their SR becuase its the easiest and most popular. There are no step by step manuals for the engine swap...but if you do your research right you will be ok. Check out srswap.com
