high mileage worries?

high mileage worries?

whast up guys? still havent found me a silvia yet but i still have hope. anyways, would you guys buy a 240 with over 100k or close to 100k? any kind of worries or things that go wrong at this mileage like radiators, clutches etc..?


also how do these cars handle in snow with snow tires? we just got 10 inches in PA.

i hope to become a real memeber soon

Id buy one with over 100 or close to 100 k...KAs will last quite a long time. Timing chain/tensor (forgot name) Goes bad, bushings are starting to wear. Check the belts.
I dont have any first hand experience with driving one in the snow, but they will do good if you drive smart.

i guess its kinda hard to get answers about handling in snow because most of you guys are in kal-i-for-nia and dont get snow much.

If ya search around, we have talked about snow driving a few times..just search and you will find what ya need

I'm from Minnesota(don't laugh), and driving my 92 fastback w/hicas was a blast in the snow. Just know your limits. It has about 120,000 miles. I just got a 91 coupe with 162,000 miles. Perfect body, smooth engine after got rid of a rattle by removing loose top timing chain guide, and I just have to change the thermostat.
