Hey all! yeah new here. I'm the owner of a 91 Isuzu Impulse RS... well not exactly, it was a non turbo FWD XS, average sports car before, but i managed to find a RS (AWD turbo) as a parts car and swapped the motor into mine. (this motor, by the way, is the same motor used in 91 Lotus Elans. anyways the swaps done, the car is fast (still FWD though) and handles great... but i need a change.
I'm in love with 93 240sx convertables, its just a shame they only come in automagic . but my dream is to have a 240 convertable and do a V8 swap with a 5spd, to me that would be my ultimate dream machine (well next to a Lotus Espirit V8 TT), i love the sound of 8 cylinders!
Anyways, i'm hoping soon this dream will become reality.
Nice to meet you all! i know most of you highly disagree on the V8 swap, but i've had enough trouble with 4cylinder turbos, and i want to try something new.

I have a convertible...It is great. I have only had it a few months and haven't done anything other than getting the carpet dyed from gray to black. In a few months I will be getting a ridiculous amount of money and have big plans for it. I was originally thinking of an SR swap, but have decided to do a RB26DETT just because it is so rare and to put it in a convertible will really be rare (probably a first).

 

I parked next to one yesterday, it was white, and it was really gorgeous. I just stood and eyeballed it for nearly 20 minutes. I need to locate the owner and try to talk them out of it
