introduce myself!!

I'm in -
92 SE blown head gasket, beat body, slush box

mostly gonna use to autox and track day - not sure if it'll stay on the street

first thing is to decide what to do about the motor/tranny

fix it...?? lotsa miles and not a strong 2.4 - is that a waste of time

swap in another used 2.4??
swap in a used 2.4/5 sp

go JDM?? ($$$$ is a problem)

swap another ka in there, you can pick one up for cheap not a prob. do a fair rebuilt, maybe port and polish. all can be done affordably. expect to pay around anywhere from 100-500$ for a new ka.

Start small man, dont jump into the SR craze just yet,,do research befor u get in over your head. Just do another simple KA swap. u can start in the moring with all ur parts, fluids and tools and be driving ur car that night if every thing goes smooth. ive done it twice already

its a good fourm man, i have not ran into any jerks here and i have been using this fourm for over a year now i think.

there are other sister and brother forums but, they all do the same thing which is infoming people about things that matter with nissan and 240's specific

how much cash do you have to work with as far as the engine goes? you may want to do a swap if you plan to autoX.

Get an ATTARCO, rebuilt or used KA motor for under $1200.
Then I would just turbo charge the biatch, and kick some major **** for another $2500.........

Or you can just do a Jim Wolfe technology cam swap, ecu retune, and get about 35~50 More HP added to the KA.

i don't wanna get stuck modding an N/A KA because $ for HP = lost cause

So I think a good running KA unmodded till I save up is the way to go

that gets me running while I go through the brakes/suspension etc

Then figure out the plan for higher power levels
