New to the Forums

Hey guys, just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself. Pretty recently I was in search of a new car and was influenced by a friend with a 240 to think about going with an SX and then an SR swap. The more I thought about it the better it seemed, mainly because I've wanted a rear drive turbo car for a while now. I found a nice '95 240sx with some basic performance and suspension parts and high mileage (107k) and dropped $7600.00 on it (yea, I know it's a lot but these things are hard as hell to find in the Bay Area). From there I decided to go with an S15 motor, 6-speed tranny, diff, and front end. I know some people will suggest that an S15 motor isn't really worth it and an S13 or S14 is a better way to go, but I just wanted to stay true to the latest and greatest Silvia. To catch up to the present, my car is still in the shop due to several set backs, but hopefully will be in my hands very soon. I'm already a member of 240sxforums.com, but from surfing these boards it certainly seems like you guys are much more friendly and fun to talk to and exchange info with. In any case, thanks for having me and I look forward to talking to you guys soon.

Thanks guys, I feel at home already. I'll post pics as soon as I see it myself. Right now all I have is some pics of the clip, and I'll see if i can get those up. Shouldn't be that hard, I just need my buddy to send them to me since he's the one with the digicam.
