hey wassup! i'm from honolulu and im new here, but i have a question. When i'm driving my 93' 240sx on a rough road, i here this clanking or knocking sound from the bottom of the car, and it happens either when i'm in 1st gear or pressing on brake/clutch pedal. i know it's not my brakes or exhaust, but i was wondering what it could be?

 

Welcome to the forums. Sometimes the trunk lid rattles but that doesnt dound like it.

 

sub frame bushings may be worn

 

You probably need subframe spacers...welcome

yea man and while your under there check ALL bushings.
