Anyway, welcome to the forums, feel free to sniff around, get a feel for things . . .try the tuna. . . it's good for you.

eheh...well you have a point there, i guess the proper thing to say would be that taekwondo is a very limited martial art in real world situations...

...and yeah head kicks end things fast, but are risky...if you whiff, you're wide open to a counter

...wow, this thread sure has taken a different turn hasn't it? lol...

Welcome to the forum. The martial arts isn't how to fight, but how to keep from fighting.
My art is mulan t'ai chi.

That's the most realistic statement I've heard in regards to martial arts come from this forum,

Mulan T'al Chi . . .I'm curious . . .teach me . . .I'll be up to three . . .and the rest of the combat world will be stuck on ONE . . . MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

What other two do I know? Well, you'll just have to search the threads and find out now won't you. . . .hmmmm . . .ahhh . . .I love being difficult.

LOL!

just so no one misunderstands, i am not nor have i ever been involved in street fights. when i say fight i'm talking about a competitive setting. be it the ufc, cage rage,pancrace,k1,shooto ect etc etc.. or my personal favorite pride (too bad pride it done for).

i did however wrestle in high school and take a martial arts (karate) class in college.
