wiring problems

wiring problems

hey everybody im new to this site and i have a 92 nissan truck with a 90 or 91 240 twin cam motor i just put it in (talk about alot of work) anyways the truck has been turbo for about 6 months with the original motor and wanted to upgrade the motor for looks and performance ,i did not use the twin computer or trans neither the wiring harness i just repinned the iacv and others to work with my harness, anyways im ready to fire and i dont have a clue which sequence the 4 wires to the distributer go in ..ive googled, searched on here and have not found anything, im just wondering if one of you generous people could give me a hand... i would greatly appreciate it.

if you look next to each post on the distributor cap it should have the # next to the posts.

yeah i saw that for the spark plug cables but i need the sequence for the wires from the ecm,power, ground ,signal, signal ground,etc color coded wires that go into the distributer. but thanks for the input

im on shop-key right now a snap-on repair web site and the wiring order is white, blk, blk, blk with a white tracer ill try to get a camera to post a picture of the wiring diagram. an the wiring order that go from distributar to ign coil are blk-red, light green/blk, blk

4 cylinders use the 1-3-4-2 firing order. 1 being the forward most cylinder, 4 is in the back. put the motor at TDC (cam lobes facing out) in order to determine where #1 is in the distributor

i thank everyone for there efforts but the wiring i have that plug to the distributor are green/black line ,green/ yellow line ,black/white (12v),black,ground just need to know sequence from left to right on distributor thanx guys.

the key here is to be very descriptive bc none of us obviously knew what you were talking about. im not sure the order, ill check my service manual today
