91 240 window trim

ok guys I need some help, I need to locate that window trim that lies against the subframe and above the driverside's door. I think it's aluminum that is spot welded to another piece underneith. I need the outside trim or an assembly. to fit a 91 240sx LE. Mine was mangled in a slight accident, trim is junk! I'm finishing up painting my fender and hatch rust fix, so I need this thing in a couple weeks before I order my rb20det clip. Any junk car loaners out there? EMail me warnsnopro@aim.com Thanks!

you need the thing that goes above the window that starts on the a-pillar and goes back to the b pillar where the plastic trim piece is?

That would be great. I'm not sure the easiest way to get it off, I sort of just ripped off te old piece. It seems it's spot welded every 4-5 inches or so , but I'm not sure if the piece it's attached to is removeable or part of the car? I removed all my rust under the spoiler and fixed, primed, and waiting to get it painted. The trim on the top was badly damaged when an 18 wheeler cut the kid off who had it before me, dented the roof a little and distorted the top smoothliness of it, but with a slide hammer , a spot weld dent puller, and some patience I have some good plans. I got a speeding ticket that I'm fighting, thank god state law protects my case since the speed limit sign needs to have a survey for it to be legal, which the magistrate didn't feel like recognizing! Can you imagine that, magistrate didn't want to recognize a state statue. WTF! So in front of the judge I go... Then after working for months I plan on dropping in an rb20... Love the little car... Thanks for all the help, shawn

my zip is 01036. I've also seen people ship weird shaped objects by reinforcing the shape with a long metal rod wire tied to the piece and then wrapped in tape then bubble wrap and cardboard material... hey it works. Let me know on shipping prices, thanks! shawn warnsnopro@aim.com
