JR -

One flaw you mentioned - "HKS GT2540 turbo, that's a complete bolt on turbo and with stock internals."

A SR22DET does not have stock internals. The SR20DET has stock internals and is modified (either bored or stroked) to reach 2.2L

12.4 @ 115 MPH - not bad. But I still ran a 12.6 @ 114 when I had nothing but intake, exhaust, down pipe, and iridium spark plugs - not to mention stock boost level. You've done a lot more than I had and you're only running .2 seconds faster.

I'll fill you in on a little bit of info. Your friend with the Supra engine - well, he should be hitting better HP numbers with 24 psi, but that's beside the point.

HKS took a RB26 (GTR engine) and threw two of their SS turbos onto it. They then added 264 degree cams to both sides and an F-Con V. The GT-R was also running exhaust, down pipe, filter etc... your tiny common mods. Back to the point - they boosted the 2.6L engine to 20 psi and got 570 HP to the wheels.

With mathematical calculations, it is not hard to figure out how fast you run in the 1/4 just by knowing your WHP and car weight. 500 HP in a 240 can put you into the 10's if you know how to drive. 400 HP puts you into 11's pretty easily.

Well, when the track opens in March (provided I make it on the 17th) I will get video of my car running 11's. If you wish to see it running, send me an email around that time and I'll upload the clip and send it to you.

I'd also like to see your car hit a 12.4 Instead of telling me to email you, just list what you have done in your car on this site....no reason to keep it secret.

Oh yeah, one last thing that I forgot to mention - if you are running a trap speed of 115 mph, judging that your car lies between 2850 - 3000 pounds with you in it, you have between 375-395 RWHP.

Get your car dynoed if you haven't already and tell me what you dyno at.

I did run 12.4 with stock engine.
The HKS turbine was before I modified my engine. I got lot bigger one now. Yes you are right my car had 347WHP with that HKS turbo. I haven’t dynod yet, won’t be able to till the weather gets better. With the mods I have I am guessing my cars power. And I am sure it wont be disappointing.

Just to give you an idea what kind of turbo I have, well I am the only one in States who running this turbo no other is using this turbo on SR20DET. Many supras use it.

I cant list my mods online, the reason the company who is testing there parts on my car wants to keep it dl till they get the results. So I don’t want to disclose the mods.

My friend with supra has a bone stock engine with stock fuel system; I thought 463 WHP isn’t bad at all. Don’t know you tell me.

I believe you about GTR making 570 HP @wheels. Its RB26DETT that’s HKS SS ball bearing TTs. it’s not hard to believe.

And like I said I don’t care much about drag any way Top speed, road course and drift is my sport. So I am not shamed of running 12.4 with bone stock engine, stock fuel system with the help of HKS GT2540 and HKS PFC F CON. (Which by the is for sale let me know if you or anybody else is interested) I have lot other hard to find items for SR20DET for sale.

Night, I noticed you said you had rb26 pistons in your car. Does this mean that all rb engines have the same bore? If so are there any other interchangeable parts?
