Clear plastic cleaner

For S14 95-96:

Initially, I used 18 grit sandpaper (or whichever grit is non-abrasive to the human eye) and sanded down each headlight in a back-forth manner with constant stream of water for about 30minutes each.

then, used some Turtle wax rubbing compound to get any left over crud off.

finally, I used Meguiar's Clear Plastic cleaner and polish.

the outcome was really nice. the headlights look brand new fresh out the factory. It doesn't make your headlights look Euro glass or Final Konnexion clearness, but it looks very nice for a plastic headlight lense.

This is what I did. Took about 15min.

Rub on a little metal polish, wipe off. Top it off with a light waxing (turtle wax) and they look much better.

Attached is a before and after pic so you can see the difference.

I took my lights out and sloshed around some bleach and orange cleaning liquid and that made quite a difference too. Since my car is golden I just thought I could paint the corner lights to match the yellow tint of the headlights. Those Glass headlights ain't cheap either so I gotta work with what you got ;P

I recently used mother's plastic polish. I have to go over it like 4 times, but the end result was great! It's not perfect... but they look damn shiny and much much much whiter than before.

Hey girl it's not always just the Outside that's faded it's also the Inside where you can't get to that's where the problem may lay. So polish all you want on the Outside but,you still have the yeller on the Inside ;P
