Question Seafoam cleaner?

Hello all. This may be the dumbest question, but what is seafoam cleaner for the fuel system? Where does one get it up here in Canada? What does it do for the car?

Thanks
thegary

If your arent a member there, you should be. Some good info there. Basically its a substance that cleans all the carbon deposit and dirt inside your engine, fuel system, injectors and etc. Please search in the future, i did a quick search and found this right away!

well on a different note, my father suggested that it may be a bad idea for a car with high mileage cause something thats that hardcore and cleans so good could eat through some tubeing or some lines somewhere that may be dry rotted? anyone hear anything bad about using seafoam? just curious

lol, eat through some rotten tubing? I mean in theory thats correct, if the tubing is almost gone it could potentially eat through it. In reality however if your tubing is that bad then it needs to be replaced anyways. The benefits of a cleaner fuel and engine system outweighs replacing a tube in my mind. read the Thread on NICO, hundreds of people tried it like myself and liked the results.
