The stuff looks new because not that many people talk about this "filterskin" it really makes since though...for the cold air people as long as it doesnt restrict air flow... people should test this stuff they're only like 10-12$ =0)

 

One more thing... for all you hardcore N/A or the people complaining about heat for cold airs in our 240s... check this out

it looks like that but black filterskin and it fits the filter(k&n,AEM,etc) perfectly !

yea SUPER CLEAN n NICE! i seen that a lot at my friends cousins shop RB MOTORING =0) ... yea i can't wait till i get my car... it'll be awaiting for a costom intake job...im gonna try a lot of new stuff =0) im gonna try to create more air flow. and try to use the full potential of my intake

 

i finally found it ... well a picture of what it might look like , i came accross this picture at work. so now i show u what it might look like! a water proof bag that only lets air in and water out!..

 

at the moment im using an HKS mushroom filter with intake adapter 4in to 3 in and stock piping..so far im HAPPY

 

on the subject of that damn wrap-around tubing from the intake to the filter... why not switch the filter & the battery? I know they make the small ultra-light batteries that you could put there rather easily.

 

I think that would cost more $$ after all is done, compared to that wrapper thing...

...honestly, is it THAT hard to run a short ram when the weather is wet, and run a cold air when it's nice and sunny? I mean yeah - certain places it may rain more than it's dry - in which case it would make perfect sense to use a short ram, but in places where the weather is predictable by season... it only takes a screwdriver and about 15 minutes to switch a CAI to a shortram (provided it's designed that way)... no buying air filter cover things, no extra $$ spent after paying for a CAI in the first place...

 

Not here in California, sure, it's mostly sunny, but out of nowhere, clouds, wind, and rain, lol. Gotta love Cali

Seriously though - you buy springs, you know the ride will be a little stiffer. You buy exhaust, you know the car will get louder. You buy a CAI, you definitely should know that you're gonna have to do something when the rain starts falling...

seriously----> all u need is a high flow intake filter(ex. HKS 4in) and a adapter to fit it to the dam sensor thats it....
well thats what i have and dam i notice a big difference! more response.

 

yeah if your car is mild (like all bolt ons) I know on the dyno a CAI makes more power but honestly, I can't feel the difference between short ram and CAI.
