Kei Office or Tein?

Well i finally have enough cash to get a new set of coilovers and im torn between the tein HE dampers and the Kei-Office d1 spec dampers. Could i get some input as to which route i should go. Price isnt a big deal, im more concerned about quality and performance. Cause its like trying to choose between two beautiful women.

Wow, how can you even put the two on the table to compare. Normally questions like that have to do with budget but if you're comparing $1250 coilovers to $2500 coilovers, it's expected that the $2500 would be better performing or more desired; in this case, both.

Tein HEs would be sufficient for performance. They're not as beefy though, the springs are softer, and camber adjustment is limited compared to most other coil overs.

I don't know if the D1 Specs are a track/street setup like the XRs but the XRs were a top choice for the d1 pros. I suspose it'll be transfering over to the D1 spec as the XRs are going out of production.

I think the d1s have an helper spring on the rear along with a bunch of other things that I never looked into because they're $2500 or so. I think they'll perform as well or better than the XRs.

If moneys not an issue, I'd get Zeal B6's most likely. Take that into consideration if you have all the money to blow.
