does anyone know of any remote starter kits i could install on my 92 nissan 240sx? and how hard of a job is it? cuz winter is coming and i'm too lazy to sit in the car while its warming up cuz i'll freeze my butt off. haha
hmn, check out viper car alarms, tey do remote starting, not sre on the difficult, justmae sure you usethe ebrake and keep your car in neutral if you have a stick r it will drive away... if you go to a car audio place the can do it, lemme know cause im wanting to do one as well.

ya. my friend has a remote start on his Spoon EK. he did it and the car started rolling at hit his boss's car. oops. be careful with remote starters. NEVER leave the car in gear unless u HAVE to. you might forget.

Lady, didn't we cover the whole "using a remote start with a manual" thing in your alarm post?
not to be a punk or anything but all that said above sounds like bull... you can certainly out a remote start on a manual. you have to get a clutch over ride for the manual. if you order one from somewhere you jsut ahve to tell them you are puttin it on a manual car. my car was automatic and now its a manual and my remote start works just as good as it did before.

pretty much all of it...other than the part were HyJynX said no negative affects thats about the only thing that wasnt bull. like said, im not trying to be a little pun k about this but mine works great.
I have the viper alarm system with remote start and turbo timer, and everything works just fine on my sr. Just don't leave it in car and make sure your parking brake is in tune. I think this topic is dead. Bottom line, remote start is fine on manual.
