You cannot just plug and play the two. They have different plug setups. Thing is they both rely on the same signal source. So wiring up a conversion could be done.
It will just take time and some patience.

didn't the coupes come stock with digital speedos? i test drove one once and it had a digital speedo.

The tech article will be posted when I have some free time. Things are hectic here. Trying to purchase a home and paperwork is killer.
You can get used HUDS from $50 - $300. Depending on the seller and the condition.
The work/labor is all on you. Free if you do it yourself paid with food for a friend and money if you hire an electrician.
