95 black 240

hey everyone,
today i test drove a 1995 black 240sx and i really liked it. he's asking 4,000 for it with 130k, its automatic. hes done some things to it but not alot. im going to pick it up on wed. im hoping and try to get it down to around 3,600. heres a website he made for me about the car(theres pics on the website).

http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/d/n/dnb133/240/

tell me what you guys think, it'll be my first car if i get it so i want it to last. thanks in advance

well to be honest with you... the bumper is fixable and the A/T can be changed. The fact that he says its fast and the performance is great makes me tend to think he beats on it hard. But all in all it seems like a real clean car. If you can get it for 3800-3600ish then it would be a great deal.

good luck

And aftermarket sun roofs weaken the structure of the roof alot because it is not reinforced for one as oem equipped models are.

Ya, keep looking, i know it sucks to find a cool one then decide to pass it up, but i got my 95 240 with 105k miles and 5 speed (with a B&M short shifter) for 2800 cause of a dent in the rear, which i fixed in a day, saved money money! don't give up!

to update everyone, the 2nd 95 i was intrested in was already sold. but i found a 1991 240sx le on autotrader. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=y&cardist=185

if i would get it i would swap in a 5speed, but i was wondering since the car is a 14 year old car would i be spending more money in repairs rather then putting money to mod it. and i would try to get it for less money too i think 4k is way to much for it.

Thanks for looking,
Dan
