i called my PO and i got clearance to go to the gainesville Raceway tomorrow to "test and tune" my car, he's about as cool as a probation officer can get.. anyways, i'm hoping to break into the 12's, you guys think she'll make it? here's my list of power mods...

custom Pulsar GTIR TB2804 (journal bearing T28)
GReddy Profec B Spec II set at 11.5lbs, (will adjust "hi boost" setting to 14.5-15lbs as the ECU is tuned for that)
4" FMIC

GRID tuned ECU (tuned for 1.5bar, FMIC, Exhaust, hotter timing/fuel map, speed/fuel cut)

i'm hoping to get into the 12's as that's where i think i should be..... my black car ran a best of 16.11 with average bolt ons and advanced timing I/H/E etc..

any guestimates of what i should be running??

and don't i need a helmet if i break 12's? thank god i have one!!!

i know, it's not drift, but it's gonna be nice for bragging rights, and to see what i can do with it, as i've never had it down the 1/4...

cause it awesome to live your life 1/4 mile at a time guys....

 

You will probably not even break 13's since it's your first time. You won't know how to launch/shift on your first time. After a few runs, you may be able to get mid-low 13's. I hope you prove me wrong though!

 

it's not my first time.... it's my first in this car, but i've had my black S14 at the track several times, so i know how to launch and shift.... just a matter of learning the SR and revving all the way up to 7700rpm instead of the KA's optimal 5500k shifts..

the first few run will be feeling out launch RPMS, and shift RPMS... i hope it's not 7700k shifts, cause thats running my GReddy RAS ragged lol

 

I thought redline was 7200 on the SR? The one time I took it that high it limited itself at 7500...

 

i have a tuned ECU for a higer REV limit.... thank god for GReddy RAS

cameras will be rolling, i have both, my point and shoot, and my digi camcorder on the chargers as we speak..... going to see if all this work work in the car is gonna pay off or not....

everyone always gives me **** about my wheels LOL... they came with the car, i've been too busy fixing other ****, and dumping my money in the rest of the car lol... plus his are Motegis, and i'm not a big fan.... I'd rather have Fn10r-Cs or whatever they're called, the 5zigens that everyone and their brother has/had

i like that time, cause i've been saying since the beginning of this SR build "if i can make this car as fast as my 07 Mustang GT/CS, i'll be happy.... and well, Road and Track rates the stang @ 13.9 in the 1/4... so i'm beating a new mustang by over .5 sec... AWESOME, oh, and i also beat my buddys 1995 KAT (one three of three races with him, on the third he blew his motor on a misshift).... WIN!!! i'll get some vids up when i figure out how to transfer from my camcorder....
