Install Racing Seats???

I installed my Ractive Racing seats that i got for 200$ for both so i couldnt turn that down. but i made my own brackets and used the stock sliders but it seems very high that the seats sit up. i wanted to know any ideas how i should do it? because 1 side of the seat floor is higher than the outside on the 95 nissan 240. trying to figure out how to lower it. thanks

You sure its welded correctly? Most brackets, bride, recaro, and sparco have reinforced welding in the joints on the top mouting area so it doesn't snap apart during a collision. It may be bolted down to your car, but if the top pieces aren't solid, the amount of stress load put on them if you were to be in a collision is extreme amount of load.

Safety stuff isn't something to go cheap on.

so how can i find out how to get them correctly done? and have them lowered. because the way the 95 240 sliders are not parallel to the chasis, one side, closer to the shifter is higher than the side towards the door.???? do they make brackets for any seat?universal?

usually the way it's done is to get a sparco/bride/recaro bracket and redrill it for the generic seats.

bride is the lowest you can go for street reclinable seats.

nams makes a super low rail for buckets that are mounted on the sides.

bride rails hate crappy seats.

Crappy ebay seats and others alone those lines are made rather wide. So the bride rails dont really fit with out a lot of modification.

Cuz the thing is my seats sit high so they almost touch the top of my car. i feel like im on top of the road rather than lower to the road. tryin 2 figure it out to get it lower. not recline but the actual height.
